TV screen shows "No Signal" message

    Dear all,

    I'm new to this forum.

Recently, i got my new dreambox 888 a few days ago which i order online. It works fine for the first time, and when i switched it off and on back again, the problem occurs.

    1) The dreambox LED light remains "Green" in colour.
    2) No reponse from the controller.
    3) TV screen appear" No Signal" message.

i emailed to my supplier, and they ask me to connect the dreambox to my PC via RC232 cable (unfortunately, i cant find it at HomeFix or Best Denki shops.). and the link they provided me is unavailable.

any "old bird" can help me on this?

Go Sim Lim Square and buy

    1) RS232 Null Modem Cable
    2) Aten RS232 serial to USB adapter (Buy this if you do not have a coms port on your pc) - Goto Level 4/5 Bizgram

By the way, you sure you connected the signal cable correctly? From the wall to the box?
