I've tried using the new .bin files from the auto-update archive as listed in the sticky, and also tried switching to evocamd but still no go.

Hope despdan can give us a few hints on how to get around this.

One Question Have you got your boxes setup with keys roms & cams? you need to have this done first. btw it would be nice if you have mgcamd & evocamd installed it will help me help you.

Yup, but only the roms that came by default with the box (as listed in my previous post).

I've just removed evocamd cause of the size, but no problems, I can easily install it again.

to start, you will need the dm500c and a null modem cable... the power cable can be used... but the plug is china plug so you will need an adapter to plug in.. you dont need a transformer

How do i check the above? I was able to watch all channels till the reset by S******. I presume all should be in.

Thanks despdan, will give it a shot once my little boy has finished watching "In The Night Garden". ;p

Have already edit the keys and rebooted the box... just need to switch over to see if it works.

Update: Still black screen... do I have to rescan? Cause whenever I do automatic scan, it never finds anything...
