Use Evocam 2.14 and than turn it to S*y SP1 and then see how it performs.

Do you have any splitters/boosters or attenuators on the feed? If so have you tried removing them all?

with the greatest of respect mate, channel breakup usually means the signal is anything but fine. remove the splitter. you may be getting too strong a signal so try an attenuator

signal power chops and changes all the time mate. i have had legit signals doing it so i can assure you that your dodgy signal will be doing the same

What else is plugged into the splitter? Not a modem by any chance?

to be honest i know for a fact it isnt the signal as i have never had this problem before so why would they lower my signal now?

Does the freezing stop when the modem is not plugged in. I have seen a few people post that there modem was affecting their Dreamboxes, something to do with bad splitters.

signal issue signal issue signal issue. as i stated previously, signal power goes up and down all the time. i have had legit services working fine one day then blocky choppy/no signal at all later on the same day. ntl came out and put a booster/attenuator on the line dpending what the problem is.
it matters not if your signal strength was brilliant before, its NOT NOW.
