Tune Fail - Singapore - DM800C

Hey just setup my DM800se with a new cable tuner. Unfortunately except 2-3 channels nothings works - always tune fails. The only channels which are ok (not perfect) is BBC and History channel. Not even the starhub intro channel is working.

I changed cable etc. already any ideas what I can do?

I am using existing boquets, should I do another manuel scan? Doesnt matter, right?

Help would be awesome.

Signal is around SNR 65% or DB 25 DB

For mostly all channels it does show info.

It seems that your signals are really weak at 65% and since u can get infos on the channels means that there is nothing wrong with your bouquet service. If u check your BER, it shows to be about 1000+ or more? If changing the cables doesn't help it could be your dreambox's tuner is faulty,or otherwise, get a signal booster.

BER is about: for some channels 0 for other more than 25000

1. Where can I buy good new tuner? I have original DM800se box.
2. Where can I buy signal booster? Which brand?

I'm afraid I'm not very sure about that, I'm just a newbie like u too haha. But u can check about in s1m lim square, they pretty much have most of the stuffs.

1) i don't think u need to change tuner since yours are original DM should be better then clone.
2) can be found at Sim Lim Tower basement. check with the shop how to use it.

normally booster are use in main point then output splitter to rest of the point.

unless the booster u bought with 4 output then different story

2. I am new in my apartment, do u mean as main point the one next to my TV our is there another one somewhere in my apartment

for apartment am not sure

for HD* got some way to do it even new flat

example for new HD* out side of the flat sh cable box the main are there inside there is splitter to house cable point ( living room,room1,room2 etc)

Funny enought I just found an opennet box in my apartment... isnt that the fibre cable company?
