New Images for SG use only

Hi,
Seem to have problem with FTP connection. Can't seems to connect to my DM800HD via FTP.
Username; root
PW: dreambox
Port: 21
So cannot FTP the plugin into my box....
Any chance I can flash the nfi image (SG-Newnigma V3.3.2-dm800-SSL-84b.nfi) using web browse?

Do not attempt to flash if u have not save yr keys. If it is lock, install tspanel via usb and reset the ftp password from tspanel.

The password reset option should be under the tools 2 menu.

Btw, mine is enigma2 old image file installed sometime back in June...

Go to addons panel>sim2-addons>tspanel_new update and do an update to latest which is 6.7. U should find the tool 2 menu and reset the password from there.

To do the update, do I need to connect my box to a network? My box is connected only to the TV w/o any network connectivity.

Managed to update TSPanel to 6.7 and reset password to blank...but still cannot get FTP connection. Error message as below:
Could not connect to the Dreambox on address xx.xxx.x.x, port 21.
Check the IP address and the port number and try again.

Reset the password for a few times and it finally work!

Enter user as root, and Password leave it blank. Just follow the instruction.

Telnet to yr box and put the default password dreambox. Backup yr keys and scce folder or yr working image via tspanel in case u encounter problem and can easily revert back to it.

Hey, I need help with my dm500c. Pm me for more. Total super newbie here. Im sg, using sdgvb plugin.

- these few days suddenly some channels sot sot , can see a bit only, how?

- Can't login to FTP using default password, tried many combinations but failed. Can I reset the root password without flashing?

- what is enigma? And how to check?

- I am on pli jade 1 (I know its old) and I can't download (stuck at waiting) from downloads menu, though it shows a list of plugins, games etc...

- I can update channels and keys thru the sgdvb plugins but can download other things.

- how to backup and restore keys

I doubt so, you are 8 months behind us. Lots of reading to do

Yepp .. the keys file is 0kb while the channels lists is 4kb. Can you guide me along thru PM? Thanks
