i was watchin tv, then when i tried to change the channel, the remote wont work, i tried the same remote on a different box and it works fine, the box was only a few months old....i re-flashed, still not workin now im jus stuck at the config page.

if you can connect to the network (pc to dreambox) use the remote on the web interface. not ideal but hopefully gets you sorted until a new remote arrives.Comment

no it sounds like you need a new remote. unplug the box and leave it for a minute. plug it back in and see if the remote responds. if it does all well and good. if it doesnt and you want to change channels use the web interface remote.Comment

did you reset the box ? sometimes they just lock up !!Comment

open up the box unplug the cable in the centre of the board that connects to the front panel which has the led's on it and ir sensor and then plug it back in and make sure it is plugged in properly. I had a box that first off would not power on then would not allow the use of remote but a quick play with the cable and it was fine.

i have same problem my remote was fine one minuet and now it won,t work at all. managed to get green light of by holding of switch for a while and now thats fine but my remote won,t work. can anybody help please i have ordered a new control but what site is best to control dm500s till it arrives.Comment
