U can still get the odd original 500c but there are not many of them left.

If u want a genuine box try here...

Otherwise, there are loads of clones about but i'd look at the threads to see which sellers have good reports.

What makes you think a clone is any different from an original?

Clones have improved tuners with coax connectors, original dm500 receivers had an f-type connector and the tuners didn't take well to some of the frequencies that the UK uses.

Clones are definitely better than originals....for the UK anyway.

Other then that, there are 2 kinds of copied dreambox main borads made in china. they have the good quality 4 layer green board. and the poorer quality 2 layer yellow board.
