Honestly, I hv a hard time with these chn using a DreamBox 800. I too needed help.

Looks worrying, most chn is switch to xxx.5MHz including existing SD/HD bouquet. I think not worth preparing online update as they can switch anytime soon. Really soon.

N3 encryption is on most HD chns, we are going to lose some HD chns soon. (28-7-13 8.40pm)

Anyone can offer me some help. I'm using a Sunray SR4. I'm able to use autoscan to receive all the channels except channels on frequency 394 and 458 (symbolrate 6875). Manually scanning these 2 frequencies show nothing. I could use dreamboxEDIT to "forcibly" put the channels in. The EPG can then show the channel details, but switching to the channel will display nothing. Any special settings for this 2 frequencies?

Don't think its a weak signal, I have a dm500 which works fine receiving all the channels.
Using mgcamd 1.38 currently. Tried all the previous versions. No go.
I can't use the bouquets you guys are using. I'm using openPLI without trialtuner. Scanning using the"satellite tuner by prefixing 01 to frequency forces it to use the cable tuner.
As such, the channels in bouquet points to satellites.xml instead. I usually take an updated bouquet and do the manual translation myself instead.

hi guys, anyone has positive experience in fixing "No CA found by 2nd stage loader, please contact support at dream-multimedia!" errors? i've tried to force flash via null, but keep getting a FILE TOO BIG error. cannot access the webpage with the power button down while powering up either... i hope i dun have to throw this 800HD away...

on a side note, the cable tuner portion of the box heats up very quickly. reckon its hardware error?

Are u using usb adapter and null cable? Could be one of the reason u getting file too big error. Have u try with dreambox optiflasher? Dm800 tends to heat up very quickly and that is normal so the only way is to put a laptop cooler to cools it down.

Hi Master UU161, I think u can stop update the 8 new chn bouquet bcos all in N3 format, no use with N1 boxes.
My log reading from 2pm to 1am confirmed it N3 encryption. No N1 stream. So no present FW sd/HD box can watch except SH STB.

Another way, N3 card with BK and RSA in DB.
I think it quite late now to desperately clashing into this new FW bcos BK and RSA is very very difficult, if u saw my post 1yr+ back on how to get the dump.

When I tried x26 around noon yesterday 28jul there was the ufc fighting going on. it was the only ch that had voice & vid. 27 had vid only. Other were scrambled. Just fyi

yes, i'm using a usb adapter with null cable but i've not had a problem flashing other boxes with the cable. i tried the optiflasher, which asks for the IP address on the stop, but my LCD does not show anything.

any other ideas?

also, my LCD display is blanked. the red light above is is either steady on or flashing, depending on if i press the power button when i power on the device...
