You r right master MM that is why i don't do the update of this latest channel cause it is not fix on freq side just scan & rescan to see their freq jump here & there & keep it to myself so just keep quiet on my side 1st.

Use DCC to see your keys folder if it is there than just restart your cam will do the trick & make sure you backup your bouquet & key + scce folder

From google i understand there is the following type of tuners available on the market

• NXP DVB-C tuner
• ALPS tuner

Any better one to recommend ?

Go for NXP DVB-C tuner for SG & master SGDVB is correct

• ALPS tuner is for satellite signals

Master Astrobox, my keys and scce files are indeed intact. However, I dont have any can files. I proceed to download mgcam 1.38.. But still can only view FTA.. Any other settings for me to take a look at?

What box model 800 or SE & what image or firmware is your current box is? You have to tell us so that we can guide you on how to restart your cam,
cause different firmware use different setting, for eg. i'm using Gemini project 2.5.1 is using the blue button to go to cam management, but If all fails than i suggest u reflash to a new images configure for SG but do backup your keys /scce folder & bouquet before updating to a new images.

very straight forward you can download mgcam online & install whatever plugin that suits you, or you can find a different firmware in this useful site

How abt philips cu1216mk3?

I got 6 of these Philips CU1216MK3, only 2 of them able to receive all 8 HD channels.
I believe there are too many china-made clones. One of those working tuners are made in Indonesia.

Pls dont get too worked up, those who hv MIO oso kno there r 'BLANK' chn other than chn102(MIO), the 3 working chn 229,230,231 then some time working chn232,233 (yr tuner is not at fault bcos signal strenghr is very low) and chn226.227,228 no broardcast or not used at this moment. If u get 229/30/31 it is ok for now and wait till new transmission confirmed, then return here to chk for updates.
