You dont need to reflash an image what. Just readd the bouquets using dbedit. You dont know your stuff.

Sigh, my box is now bricked as I didnt know the non-function plugin will cause a hard reset. Sigh I cant dbedit as I dont use windows. Any bro know if theres a DBedit equiv for Mac?

I gotten a pre-owned DM800 PVR box and I do see a Mio channel, with other Mio channels as reserved. My question is, how do I know for sure that I have the BPL channels?

See already, truth is, I am not familiar with soccer. Haha. Actually wanna ask, which channel # will those BPL channels be? Anyway, I will read up. Thx.

Another question, there is a plugin which will generate a verification code, does the dreambox needs to be online to internet for this code to generate? Reason is because when I chose this plugin, it has some errors that dream-multimedia.de cannot be found.

But I must advise, dont download anything original because your box is clone

Another advice, as long as you can view the pages you want, dun do anything else. It is not going to make the pages better than it already is.

If you feel the need to be Adventurous, plus have a good working backup image of what you are using now before you download and try anything.

With this backup image you can revert back to the point before you try anything new.

Also learnt the basis of flashing an image as well.

If the above is too troublesome, just enjoy the pages you do get. Always count what you have and not what you dun have

One last qn, that small LED display (not the power led) on the set, mine doesn't light up either. I saw some youtube videos and it does light up during booting etc. Do I have a faulty LED board then?

Tks for the s***dy reply, I also noticed that so that is why I manually downloaded the latest from "SGSH Bouquet 500C/800HD/800SE" and applied that too but still the sames. I can see the channels description and time of the shows but no pictures. I don't know if the keys and scce has something to do with it cos it is missing from the directory and I have no way to get it here. Any help!

I've managed to extract the key folder with files and scce (which is empty) from my DM500 and copied over to /var/keys and /var/scce on DM800 PVR, reboot the setup box and still gets no display from the steps taken.. I am lost.. please advise. Appreciate your help Shidevil.

I've managed to get the magic files from a helpful member here and applied the files to its location eg /var/keys and /var/scce. Rebooted the box, found the FTA is okay except those from SH and still in blank screen mode. Me still cannot figure out how to resolve this issue on my DM800PVR.
