Slow Down N3 Change Over in Ireland

Just a thought, wat if lots of ppl with subs to ntl in areas that are moving to N3 started complaining of picture breakup, not recieving channels, sorry miss but I never recieved a new smartcard so i cant put it in box, ok sir ill post u a new one..... 3 weeks later ....nope didnt get that one either, as they are switchin over area by area it would take them a lot longer if there was a spanner in the works like that one, just a thought tho, id never tell anyone to do something like that

EXACTLY ! from wat i was told if u did wat i said in post #1 an installer would have to call and put the card in the box himself so with orderin a new card to suit ur box, admin costs, installer costs it would run up to about ?100 or so per call, now multiply that by all the ppl in Dublin that have subs (about 120,000)and it would sure ~~~~ up their plans, maybe we can spread the word...
the ppl in Dublin alone could stop this happenin cos if they thought they would have to spend ?15-?20 million extra to change over Ireland it could stop them in their tracks

The only problem with that is the people getting the cards are paying a sub.
So they aren't botherd about nagra3 & I would say 99.9% of them haven't a clue what the new cards are for. They are Dubs you know

I cancelled my tv part months ago but kept the Broadband. AFAIK they cannot stop the digital tv coming into my apartment. Everyone could do that, then they would put the brakes on the roll out...

everyone will have the signal coming in either on cable or mmds but the problem will be decrypting it as its nagra 3 and not hacked YET

But then again maybe its because people are not paying even the basic tv subs but still getting free tv that led to this encryption change in the first place.
