    Cable VM uk DM800

    Hi,
I have recently research about UK cable virg*n med hoping to install an image on my newly acquired DM800 SE and get it up and running.

Having searched the forum and internet, I get a feeling that "cable" in uk is gone off the scene and you can rarely get all channels.

    Is this true?

Can you not setup a cable dm800 box same way as a satellit using cccam or newcam etc..?

    any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Main 2 boxes now are starview and kryptview, both crap. Best way is sat route now. Your box can be st up with cccam, you just need to get someone to sort you a share.

You should of done some proper research before buying

Cable is now cardshare only and very few seem to know how to utilise the N3 subscription cards (quite difficult as you have to extract information from paired subscription box), thus not many shares available. As already mentioned its basically only KV/SV now except for a very few technical people.
