DM500-C help!

my DM500-C suddenly quit on me. it keeps showing the green JADE image and stuck there. nothing will happen after that. is there anyway i can repair it? or i've to buy a new box? please help. im new to this forum

can someone help, iv got dreambox 500c, iv flashd various images on this site and found so called magic files and ftp them to the box and even followd a guide that was put in place a few years ago to help. but no luck on viewing channels, dose anyone no of a good working image, files, keys etc? im starting to doubt dreambox 500c is still able to work, read stuf about n3, i dont no if im wasting my time or not.

ok thanks for the reply, any ideas if there is likely to be a fix of some sort later on?, or do i right it off altogether?

never l would think m8 , l know the chinese cable seen is going to go to n3 , so if anyone's going to break the codes they would , but it's a slim chance and a long way off

tv comes from the skies now a days is wot ive learnt/learning.
i say skies but its abit of sky and a cable.
