remote shortcuts

using a DM500c with current DK image and a harmony remote

i'm basically trying to setup a shortcut on my harmony remote to display a multi channel EPG

currently i have set a sequence to:

1. ok (brings up channels)
2. info (brings up 3 epg options)
3. scroll down (hovers over multi epg option)
4. ok (selects option)

the main problem with this sequence is it only works 1st time because the 2nd+ time you use it, (during part 2) it scrolls to the 3rd option (because it remembers from last time) which takes you to somekind of epg search


can someone tell me a better way?

(also any other shortcut tips would be welcome)

You can press RED when on a channel to bring up the EPG listing... I dont get that second part your saying about although if I do it your way first whatever of the 3 options I pick it keeps that option on the RED button until I do it the long way again a select a different EPG display

So I guess try selecting multi EPG using your first way then instead of going into that menu again just use the RED button whilst on a channel to bring up the multi EPG

hmm... the red button for me, always goes to the single channel EPG, even if i've previously viewed the multi EPG

Sorry dude your Right... I was getting mixed up I have Pli jade on one off my boxes and that one has the multi epg when hitting red

Theres a file you can change on images that changes buttons to your liking and stuff.. Ill have a look at it and see if I can see anything that can be mapped to bring up the multi epg easier
