DM500 dreambox image for kids

ok, i found a guide to build a dreambox image here

after a bit more research, it seems that it was made by devilfisk of dk. well done sir!
i have followed the instructions and tested the image i created on a spare 500c.
it worked! yay me!
anyway, i like using the dk image, it does everything i need.
however, i and maybe other members have a dreambox for their kids.
now what i want to know is how would i go about altering the image for a child?
im thinking bright primary colours, larger font, more simplified epg etc.
any help out there?

Skins is the way to go if your just wana change the enigma look

lotta work to build a smartcam panal and anything else if you just wana change colours and fonts which can be edited pretty easily in a skin file

now i cant find a program to let me edit the skin

german sites,,, there is skin editor software,

learn edit by hand in wordpad or ultraedit though
