DM800 optical digital audio output

Hi,

May I if anyone here know how to enable the optical digital audio output of the dreambox dm800?

i connected my optical output to my new philips player. Set the mode to "opti in" but no sound come out.

Please see the image for my setup.

Anyone can advise me??

does the amp say in or out?and the cable is pushed in fully,do you have any choice of sound on the blu-ray as on an amp you can select source for 5-1 sound.

Couple of things needed for confirmation,
#1 is there any red light out of the optic port on your dreambox? No means no optic output
#2 is your Philips player said optical input or output? If it's output then you know the reason.
