DreamUp error

am trying to reflash cable dreambox using dreamup.

afraid i fail at 'erase' command, comes up with bit error ...
tried flashing new image but same error . cannot remember exact wording ( will check tomorrow - given up today!), but fails with similar error message.

Anybody else come across this? any help apprecited.

can anybody help in flashing new image? getting errors , not know wether it cable, program or dreambox.

apologies if this is basic but as am novice at this, have read some of guide but not mush use at mo.

Run dreamup again and power on your dreambox.

Now instead of selecting 'flash', select 'flash erase'. Allow it to go through the motions of erasing the flash, then do it again, yes select it again.

Now go to the dream multimedia site and download the base firmware...

Flash this using dreamup and select flash erase when prompted.

It should flash ok, then you can flash whatever image you like to the box.

try to erase your flash with erase file by dreamup. Then use any image you like
