DM500 transponder found, but no channels???

Hello have a problem tryin to pick up the channels in my area in new ross, wexford ireland
when usin bruthforce it finds the transponder but no channells when its scanned

Little more info needed!

Are you NTL cable/mmds or Chxxus cable/mmds, is it 500c or t?

its a ntl cable and the box is dm500c
it says 57 transponders with 0 services scanned

where do u copy this the cable.xml into?

i extracted the cable.xml file, but it wouldn't copy into the dreambox in filezilla, saying it could not create file
