Skin causes Box to reset before booting

    DM500 Skin causes Box to reset before booting

    please help..

    i changed the skin the box said it needed to reboot and has been turning tself on and off since

      Not sure what image you have but read DF instructions here - did you follow these if you have dk?

          I hadn't read that but that is exactly what i did.. but now i have the hanging issue is thre any known fix? i have tried telnet/ftp but it disconnects too quick.. would a null modem sort it?

              Yes thats what I would try mate. Flash with a null modem using dreamup.

                  what are the chances of that, found a null cable at work... flashing now, reporting 7 mins left will let you all know!

                          right installed the plain dk1.1 image over null and the box still just cycles on boot any more ideas

                              good news, flashe 3 more times and its working now!! just need to get it home and get some services loaded up now!!!
