dreambox 500c and upc ntl,nagravision 2.??

Is there any way of using my upc,ntl nagravision 2 smart card in my dreambox 500c.I think it is rom 110 rev a07. .any input would be great.

In its current state,no.
It'll require opening and its doubtful you'll find a script to do this.

AS i said in another thread,, if the card has a valid subscription you can use it no problem to open all the channels your subbed for.
your question looked more like this, than is the card dumpable or not, which it isnt as your told above.

How would you get the BK number to make it work in a dreambox?

u would have to run an unlockin script on it in an unlooper/glitcher
but there is no script available as this rev is not open
and if u glitch a subbed card it gets marked and u could be in trouble so not advisable
the rom 110 a05 has been dumped and this rev was updated to a07 so anyone with this rev of card just pay ur subs and dont mess wit it or

I Just want to watch my official sub on my dreambox!!!

I dont want to open it.I just want it to read in the dreambox.I am paying a 100% legitamate subscription to ntl.I am using a really ugly and very large upc box also provided by them.I need to get rid of this and use the dreambox 500c that i have purchased.This would be better for more reasons than just the looks.I thought all i had to do was edit 2 config files!!

it gave the inpression that all you had to do was just pop it in the dreambox. But as you & I know its a lot harder (when your doing it for the first time)to get a subcard working in a dreambox.

ok, u seem to have missed the point that has been pointed out several times, to get a card working on a dreambox u would have to edit a config file in the emu with the 16 digit boxkey from ur card this would be the case if u had a nagra1 card, but my friend as u have a nagra2 a07 card that is NOT hacked u have no way of retrieving this info to tell the box to use the card so the answer to ur question is no u can not at this point in time do this, any way if u could it would only last a short time as u will recieve a nagra3 card before the year is out.

i guess i will have to find another way then, im fairly new to this
but how risky is glitching it(im a fast learner) and this may sound stupid but if dealers can get in it(as reported on varios forums) why cant we?. is there any way of using the sub box as a cardreader fof db? ie which chip does the card interface with?

some answers for u
1...do it wrong and u wipe bk & ird or kill card
2...because dealers have wats needed and we dont cos they prob pay big money for it , thats why it wont be made public, for example, lets say u pay ?20,000 for a car would u give it away naxt week for a tenner.....i dont think so
3...no there is no way to read or glitch the card with the sub box, end of story

but some is somewat misguided i said i have a upc nagra 2 card wich i think you will find is already enabled for nagra 3 so i very much doubt they will be sending me a new one anytime soon.
the pace sub box board looks like it was designed in the 50 s and in my opinion couldnt handle anything more complicated than lego. a few years ago sly thought they had pairing sorted but manhattan screwed it in 3 months.
this story is only starting i only need to pair one card with one box and if i were a betting man i would bet i have this card(or one like it) playing away in my db within a month.(one way or another)

milkybarkid, nothing would give me more pleasure than u coming back here telling me i was wrong but u have a n2 encryption on that card that will be useless wen they change to n3, if u hack the card and use it in your dreambox in my opinion it will only be for a limited time (maybe u can find a dealer that will do it for u ???) personally i would not waste my time on it.
if ur card is upgraded to n3 then the only way to use it is in ur pace box......
