DM500 Help to setup the Dreambox DM500C for SG

Hi all,

I had read alot of information for this website on the setup of dreambox. Currently the dreambox software is corrupted hence i am trying to setup myself. I actually would like to do the setup for viewing the St***ub start from flashing the image.

Current I flashed the dreambox using dreamup and know how to use the transpondor (manual) to search the chammels. After completion, I found no image and sound. The channel number also incorrect.

Can professional advise me the process to setup for viewing st***ub (SG) channel.

Here is the list of dm500c preconfigured image for SG use. Channels updated following sh numbering and picons included. Just ftp yr keys & scce files and restart softcam and u are ready to go.



SG-dm500c-Digital Kaos V1.1.img
SG-dm500c-Marwensat 2.6 Maxvar_07092012.img
SG-dm500c-OpenPli-18092012.img
SG-dm500c-OpenPLi-Turko-v22.img
SG-dm500c-Pli Jade 3.img

Just flash this
and ftp your keys and scce over.

Can advise the steps to input the img to dreambox.

I try DCC but cannot ftp too, can advise.

You can flash using two methods.
1.Using DreamUP

2.Check from your router the IP address on the box.
Using ftp client for example: Filezilla

So have u flashed an image yet cause there are people having trouble getting past this stage like their box stuck waiting for acknowledgement etc...

Under normal circumstances, if u reset yr box to factory settings, u need to install softcam, ftp yr channel bouquet, keys and scce files. But since it keeps hanging, i suggest u do a reflash. Here is the guide.

hi Guys I having Problem with my DM500C.. at 1st the installation was really easy plug and just play.. but since i reboot it (due to itch hand) the picture keep on flashing non stop and it keep on going for few weeks now.. I using DreamBox from singapore, hope to seek ur kind advise and assistance.. I'm new to this devise..

Hi,

You need to reflash again. Seek at program corrupted.

By the way, how do i update the SH channels? tried using the update function from the OSD menu but still no change. Kindly advise and thanks in advance!

Use DreamboxEdit to upload/download channels/bouquets.
