anyone ever hear of this on a genuine 600? a mate rang me ant d told me when he used the remote to flick between channels he gets a error 116. i.ll go and have a look and see what else it says. any ideas?

I have a dm600 that not is a clone. butt i cant connect whith dreamup The red light is on but nothing more happens.
Sometimes i get Ethernet connection for 30 s when i turn power on

Use old P.C. or l/top with 9-pin R.S.232 port & use 9-pin null-modem cable. Don't plug in DM-600 until prompted on screen.
Say "JA" to flash-erase. Have cleared many frozen images this
way. Dream on.
How'yu SATSMO. Have gone U'ground lately & broadband access
is erratic. Once I sort stable address will be back up & running.

Is the second stage loader a seperate file i can upload to my box? I have an original one that won't boot any more

well.. when u have greend n red led flashing in the front panel.. it won't boot, thus no ip address can be asigned,
dreamup will show " no CA on 2nd stage booloader".
Dont watse your time in flashwizard or dreamup & etc.

1st rip open your dm600pvr, took out the tuner unit, under neath there is a sim card.

2nd connect dreamup and connect. power up the dm600pvr while applying pressure on the said simcard until its said http boot stage ok then u can releast.

3rd proceed to flash u the image that u want.

thats all.

default: sim card contact faulty due to oxidation thus cause the above error.

I have the problem of "No CA found by 2nd stage loader" on my DM600PVR .Was able to flash it yesterday with EDG Nemesis 4.4. Today there is a red and green flashing lights in the fron

I will try to follow the instructions on this page to see if I can solve the problem. Anybody have a recommmendations on what firmware to download to avoid problem to occur again?

I'm in the same boat here.. Red and green light at boot, black screen on tv. Dream up cant connect via null modem cable.. Throw it in the garbage? :/
