DM500 HELP. NO SIGNAL/ LED LIGHTS UNRESPONSIVE!

Hey guys, I am completely new to the dreambox dm 500. I bought this set up box second hand. But when I plugged it in,(plugged in the receiver, rgb cables, ethernet, power cables = nothing) it doesnt work/ I don't receive any signal from the box. Neither was the LED lights responsive. Except the green light is very dim.

Is there something wrong in what I am doing?

I read some of the thread here on how to mount some kind of image or something, but how am I to do this when...i don't receive any signal out of the box?

Hi, don't mean to be disrespect but can you describe in detail how does it not work? When everything is plug in and turning on the power, is there any light coming out from the internal(cos you have mentioned connecting ethernet cable, so ideally there will be a led turning on which can be observed through the holes of the casing). Have you attempt to find the ip address of the box(provided if the internal led is observed, if not, it's likely some of the chip is damaged thus you can't even find the ip address)? How is the output image on the tv? does it appear black all the way or does it shows some image like Pli bla bla bla before it freezed or blackout? Do you happen to have a null cable(just in case it's not accessible via ethernet)? Just describe the things that you have done and what you encounter, and i'm sure someone will response.
