I have just been asked off a friend about flashing a dreambox for him. i have tried to do this but only picked up 30 channels. is there something im doing wrong?

how did you scan? brute force?
any splitters on the feed?

it did have a splitter on it and i did a brute force

do you have the keys installed? did you do a bruteforce UK scan?

try without the splitter. for some reason, i can no longer pick up transponders using brute force, so also try scanning the areas around you one by one

i havnt enterd any keys or nothing i just did a straight flash.

after i have flashed what should i do????

have u turned your emu on wot image r u using and were in the world r u

hold info button if you have flashed it and ftp it properly hold info button down few secs go to emu then press ok ------ put box on sky sports1 first let us know wot happens

i have started the emu and i get a few more channels but still not the full lot. i am going to start again with a new flash. ill let u know how it goes. thanks mate

i have flashed it, put the keys in the scce folder, rescanned it and still only got 30 channels. im running out of ideas.
is it ~~~~ed???

how are you scanning? scan area by area, starting with the ones nearest to you. tbh emus, roms or keys should not have any bearing on a scan.
