    How to identify kaos image on my dm500c?

    Hi,

    I bought a dm500c from dvbmonkey and when it arrived I think it has got a kaos image on it already. In advanded settings it mentioned kaos but I could not find an "about" section so I could see the image number i.e 1.1 etc.

    This is my first dreambox and I am new so I was wondering how to tell what image version I have ? prob 1.1?

      it may be 1.0 or 1.1 mate, i'd flash the 1.1 image anyway

          Yeah I will flash it to 1.1 just so I know for sure, cheers.

              dvbmonkey.com install DK v1.0 on their boxes. Upgrading to v1.1 is not really necessary as it wont make a difference to the performance.
