HELP FOR NOOB WITH DM500-C ON FLASHFXP

How do i connect PC/Dreambox/modem to get flashfxp to work correctly??

all guides seem to use router but only have one ethernat slot on pc and modem. i have a null modem rs232 cable and crossover ethernet cable.
I HAVE BEEN USING ETHERNET FROM PC - MODEM (ETH) AND DM-PC (RS) and flash seems to connect for a few seconds but then connection is lost and fxp does not show files for DM..

ALL HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!

Hi M8 just connect directly to the box from the pc. Use the cross over cable & fxp

keeps coming up with no connection (unable to find host) when i try that.


I have just noticed that it has DK v1.0 on it so I am gonna flash with v1.1 and see if that changes anything.

anything else you think i could try if that fails??
