need help with how to download v2,o image

can anybody help me , i need to reflash a dreambox 500-c, i have downloaded the (dreamup loader v1.321, to a laptop because it has rs232 ports, that my desktop dont have, so i am useing a flash stick to store it on , and put it back into the labtop , because of the ports, when i have everything linked up labtop to the dreambox,with the cable, i open up , the dreamup tool "and run it, it says ( ping result ok, box is alive and speaking to us.. when i click on flash, the box for (selecting image to flash ) comes up , and i then go to my computer"and the memory stick , that i have the v2.0 image saved on but its not there, but when i take it out and put it into the other pc it is? the question is how can i get that vo2 image file into the select box of the dreamup loader so i can flash the box , thanks for your help and time , ranger..

u have opened the rar.file the image is in ?its like a zip , if u havnt u will need to open and drag to your desktop m8

cant get v20 image to download , ??

im trying to get my dreambox 500c to reflash , so i downloaded the dreamup tool , thats ok , but when i try to download and save the v20 image for it , it comes up from the site to click on it and save it" when i click it to save , it opens the file , the bar runs across it as it should , then the box comes up again for me to save Again , keeps doing the same thing over and over , but wont save it to the desktop, , anybody tell me how i can get the image file to the dream up tool so i can send it to the box , im useing the rs 232, cable , thank for your time and help .

I just downloaded it and it worked fine.

Try clearing you temp internet files and cookies. Or even try a different browser.

still stuck on dreamup file ,

thakns for your help lads , but inm still stuck with the image file , when i go to download this file , when im told by the dream up flash box , and it goes to select file from ? no matter were i save it to,when i go there to select it its not there, ? sorry for going on about thi" any body give me a fast a to z , how to do this thanks for all your help ,,,

When you download the file from here, it's a .rar file. You need to install WinRar (it's like winzip) and that will extract the image file inside. It will be a .img file. Dreambup with then regcodnise that and you will be able to flash it.

thanks for your help devilfish,i did not know what a rar .file was , i lave it downloaded, and working , i got it to send the v 2.0 image to the box, and it got as far as downloading the channels, but when it finished it did not display them ,as it should, so i tryed another image and that one told no transponder found, so i going back to put the v 2.0 image back in the box , and start again , thanks again for your help, mick
