Dm500 update

Hi DM500 running Gemini 3.2.0 need to upgrade to 4.2.0 so I will have CCcam 2.0.9. If I flash dreambox will i loose Gbox installed since i am connected to peers in gbox cfg

save your gbox config to your pc then just add it back when you have installed your new image

ok, so all the other settings like IP will still be there and will have no problem connecting to the peers even if i changed the firmware. What about the ignore list and channel list i still have to save those right. Sorry for asking so many questions, but don't want to ruin box

if you change your image youll change all your settings like ip as it mite change to another ,your best saving your roms.service files and bouquets and cams to your computer as you will lose everything if you change image,if on the other hand you only want to change cams or roms then its different all you need to do is ftp the ones you want into where they go and when you need them theyll be there a for talking to peers?wot you mean ?each image is different and if you change to say a nabilosat one then youll only be able to talk only to their server ,if you change to a pli image then again youll only be able to talk to theirs and so on
