    DM800 USB wifi for DM800HD/800SE/500HD

    USB wifi for DM800HD/800SE/500HD

    Anyone using this? I just bought this it just won't work with my DE Blackhole DM800HD images or should i try with different images any suggestion or info please let me know

      Apparently, i give up on USB wifi device. I had try a few TP link USB device on DM800. It fail to connect or detect. End up, i use a LAN cable to connect to solve all the problem.

          For my own use yes i'm using LAN cable for about 10 meter but this is for my sis as to run cable is impossible that is why i bought this device hopefully can work for her not much of a usage mostly to do the updating of channel list furthermore there is a E2 plugin by uu161 makes my job much more easier.

              Not too sure about dm800hd but tested 2 wifi USB stick both works on 800se cnigma openpli image. 1 stick unknow china made brand another one from d24 aztech :WL55USB.

                  I read somewhere that not all images support this wifi driver only PLI online plugin support even i'm not too sure about it, I'll take this as a new experiment & challenge thanks for sharing

                          rtl8191_1.0-kernel-2.6.18-7.4-r2_dm800 ipk
                          will try this driver on my DE Blackhole images or worst will try on a different images to see which will works once i'm back in SG again
