Could someone please tell me the best image to use on a dreambox500c (clone) and how to flash them? I am also having trouble trying to lock and sync the boxes.

Just thought I'd tag onto this thread for some advice please.
I have acquired a DM500c, have set up and connected through router-DMbox and Laptop. So am able to FTP etc.
installed on the box is PL1 jade 3 20090627, can this still be used now?
Can you tell me where to locate the file/s to flash and which folders they go in on the box please
I am using Flashfxp to talk to the box. i am not new to FTP having had Starview boxes years ago.
I have got a KV A790 which obviously updates via the menu.
I have been looking through the forum threads and posts just getting more and more confused.
Hope somebody can shed some light please!!
