use an internet connected PC in tenerife to connect to the web interface of your image and you will have full control of the box remotely.. You can stream all you like so long as the bandwidth of the internet connections is satisfactory at both ends. I use VLC player on my laptop for streaming with great success but other members may use other programs..

You will need to have your box connected to the internet obviously, if you have not done that have a read of these:

Anyone knows how to configure the DB though? I have checked the list of programs and the DB is not there. I am not quite sure which ports I should be opening E.g LAN Port, Public Port and so on. Can someone help me please? I am going abroad tomorrow and I would like to watch the DB via streaming!
      Cheers

On your DM you must enable the web interface, I am not sat in front of mine to be able to guide you through the menus right now though.. On your router you must port forward the internal IP address of your DM on port 80 for http.

You will need to know your external IP address of your router, you can see that by looking at the details for your connection in my signature below, these are your details and not mine by the way they show the connection details of who ever is viewing it..

To test it just type your external IP into your browser and the DM web interface logon screen should appear.. Have a look around this and get familiar with changing the channels etc. To view/stream the programs you will need to have VLC installed on your PC or laptop that you are using etc..

If you are unsure about port forwarding in your router then follow the link post 2.

I am not at my PC now but I will give it a go as soon as I get back home. My DB web interface is already enable as I am access it from my private LAN when streaming my DB. it's great sitting in the garden watching it I just need to figure out how to forward port 80. The link you have posted is very useful but in the list of programs there is not the DB. Don't I need to set up other ports then LAN Port, Public Port only port 80? All the programs listed require all others ports to be set up. My router is F5D9230-4.. Sorry about stupid questions..
PS: I am planning to use FISCstream is it works a treat
