DM500 dm500c splitting the signal question

is it possible to split the output from a dreambox so it can run upstairs as well.
i know i'll have to turn over before i go up but just for movies or stuff.
if so which outputs work together ?.

only video out puts on a 500 are scart and rca. to send the signal upstairs, you would have to go with one of these outputs. a video sender would be your best bet

next doors just borrowed me his phono to phono with phono 2 scart adaptor.ui used the the normal scart out to downstaris tv and the phono 2 phono and phono adaptor to the 2nd tv and they worked perfect.
i do have a sender but there 9 times out of 10 shite.

when i tested before i used the portable at he side of the tv so im wondering , is there any type of adapters that can go say 3 core phono to coax aerial connection ?.its just ive coax running from downstairs tv to the bedroom upstairs not 3 core phono cable.

hmm i suppose its possible that these cables exist or can be made. ive got a cable for a multimedia hard-drive which is rca to 9mm jack plug, so in theory at least 3 into 1 will go

You'll probably need an RF Modulator mate. Something like this...

u could scart dm to video recorder (if u still have one )turn video to AV and use RF out to send signal via co-ax cable to tv upstairs, just put tv to AV as well, had this done before

all this scart to rf, scart to vcr to rf, seems a lot of overkill when a video sender can do the job. in my experience with a very cheap make from ebay, they work fine, also the one4all again works fine.

I suupose the advantages of a modulator is that you can distribute the signal to each tv in your house easily.
