DM500 Using VLC to stream from your DB

Hi All,

Is there any one who is kind enough to provide a step by step guide on how to set up VLC in order to be able to stream from the DB?
I have read loads of guides and tutorials and they were all different and more importantly none of them actually worked for me. I have the box connected to the net and I am able to get connect to the Eningma interface remotely hence I have set up the port forwarding (re: 80) correctly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm having the same problem.

When connected directly to dreambox i a can click on vlc in the enigma interface that would allow me to download and save the video.m3u file, which once opened would let me view my stream.

But cannot do this remotely.

Lets hope someone is kind enough to help us out.

Me to i am having problems trying to confugure this, there are some tutorials on U-Tube,
but this is mainly installing the software onto a PC. I have downloaded mine via Blue Panel and i am a bit lost as to what the settings should be.
