Guide: Flashing a Dreambox with Dreamup

After you flash and dreamup the box someone said you had to download another program / software, if so,what is it and where do you get it from??

i think you mean dream control center (this is what you use to edit cccam and do other things also )you should be able to get it here. you will need to buy a crossover cable also (looks like an ethernet cable but they are very different) .

Sorry. but i also heard about autoupdating keys and stuff like tat does tat mean tat the box will not go out ever again.

i dont think you can get keys here mate ,you can get some files with keys built into them but as far as i know they are for satellite ,if your on cable maybe try downloading and installing bigmaq toolbar ,once its installed it will appear near the top of your internet browser ,then just click on the big key. thats all i can say mate dont want to get into trouble .

if so I wan to be able to pickup sky channels and have a sky hd box alongside my dm500s. What other apps do I need to install and configure to get going ?

dreamup will help you to flash an image (to watch tv ,free or other wise) to flash your dm 500s use nabilosatbdarkstar 11, a dm500 s hd uses different firmware . you will need either a sky card to cardshare or buy a cline . i can advise you on what you need sure the most important thing is you wont learn it i one day .
