Hey guys, I connected my dm500c to my pc by using usb. I press connect and now there's no response after i powerup my dreambox. Any advise?

if you are using a usb adaptor to connect the box to your computer then you need to install a suitable driver in your computer , very simply simply put the driver is a bit of software that lets the computer see and communicate with the box . so without a driver the computer will see the box as such but wont be able to communicate with it , and then dcc will not connect .

Oh i see. So where can i get the driver? Because when i purchase the cable it doenst come with any CD

you may be able to download a suitable driver here on digital kaos or someone may upload one for you . or you could look at your usb adaptor for the model name and number , then type the name and model number followed by the words driver download into google and you should get download options . the just download it , after that go to where you downloaded the file in your pc and open and install it . with luck your computer should then see the box and connect ok . talk soon
