DM500 Backup Image does not copy rom and keys.

Good Day ,

i have try backup a image from my friend dm500 and flash it to my dm500 found out unable to work.
Further check found out some function on my unit unable to work as the same as his.His unit still working good. All channel able to view.
His dm500 is password protected and i am unable to copy any file through ftp.
I have try user name "root" password "dreambox" but still not able to log in
is there any way i can copy all file"key, rom,plugin" from his unit without password>?

Ok does your friends box have tuxbox commander on it?
did you copy his image using dreamup? if you did when you flash it to yours say No to flash erase.
he has the pli image and when you try the update it kills the box??

i am holding on to my friend dreambox now..
his dreambox does not have the tuxbox commander .
yes, i copy the image using dreamup and i tried to flash into my dreambox using the NO to flash erase .When i start my dreambox,some function/plugin are missing and also i am unable to view any channel.I am also unable to go to setup mode, system keep auto reboot
