DM500 Urgent help with 500c

hi, i just got my dm500c today. My original ftp login and password was root and dreambox. I sucessfully ftp the image file from this link 2shared - file upload

After i done it, i reboot my dm500c. I realised when i wanna go SETUP, it requires 4 pin digit which i have no idea why it appeared. Then i try to flash it with ftp again, but this time my ftp login and password is wrong. Or i think the password is wrong. It keeps telling me wrong password.

Can anybody help?

I don't quite understand u. Whose image r u using and r u flashing via telnet?

its okay, i updated to pli jade 3 image now. But the thing is, now i don't have any bouquet and no channels... i think i flashed it successfully already... No idea what i am doing wrong...

Just when i tried to flash another image via telnet awhile ago, after it reboot, nothing appears on my tv, i just got a blank screen... And the worse thing is i cannot get it to connect via ftp anymore... It is not appearing on my connections on my router... Anybody experienced things like this?

Should i go get a null cable and a usb serial adaptor since my computer has no null cable port? And can anyone pm me links where i can get Working Images, and whatever stuffs that is needed to allow me to watch all channels? Im from Singapore... Been trying for many many hours... Read up alot and downloaded tons of images which made problems worse.

Please if anyone could help...
