Dreambox / BlackBox 500C "Sky" style skin

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forums and will be getting myself a few BlackBoxs for my flat in a few weeks, have been hunting around to try and find a "Sky" style skin for them. Does anyone know if there is anything like tht about, I have searched high and low, Google, Forums, Newsgroups etc and if I can't find one I will most proberbly wasting time doing it myself which I'd rather not do if there is one out there

I did have a good hunt around the intaweb before posting and fell across that link and skins, some nice ones there but no "Sky" style GUI, been hunting for a while now to no prefail, I think I'm gonna have to spend a few hours with Photoshop over the next week and knock up a Sky UI clone, will post it up once I've done it if anyone is interested.

quick update, just looked into modding skins in a bit more detail, bit more complicated than I first thought, the Photoshop/image side of it I'm good with, so will spend some time at work and this weekend playing about other skins to get a better idea of it, but I will definately be making one, really like the Sky UI so want it on my Dreambox, just might not be as quick as I first thought.

Sky Skin

Any update on the sky skin?

I've also been searching for months trying to find a Sky style skin to no avail, and to be honest im suprised noone has created one.

Does anyone know if there is a more user friendly skin creator out there other than Dream Skin?

This is not my work, and it is not completed, but it's a good start....

I found a couple more files to go with this skin.

The zip files contains the directories to put the skin on your box:

The background is the blue background from the sky boxes.

I really hope someone can use them to create a finalised skin, cause I get a ~~~~in clue. I opned Skin Studio had no idea what I was doing!

P.S. Dont blame me if you put this on your box and have to re-flash it!
