DM500 wont scan

i got anopther dreambox 500c it all went well i installed cams eytc but for some reason it will not find any channels when i try to scan it says transponder scanned but found nothing any ideas?

i no the connection i use is in working order as i have a dm500c on it just now

please edit the channel list first ensuring that the S/R and channel frequency are correct,the dreambox needs to see at least one channel/transponder before it will lock,use your other box and log the correct frequencies polarity and S/R

they are correct as i use the same files of my working dreambox

If you already have a working box, have you tried backing up the image and flashing it to your new box? That should work perfectly as your new box will then be an exact copy.

ive tried that all channels and settings change but wheni go to view a channel i get nothing

If your using dreamup you have to say no to flash erase

Mark similar area as you - if it helps i can send you a working image with boquets sorted etc - neutrino or enigma if it helps.

hi, im having similar problem, i have 2 dreamboxs one works perfect gets all channels , if i put same image which is dw2 on other one it finds about 20 channels, getting very frustrated now has anyone got any ideas please
