    DM800SE start problems

I've just received this box today is was the sunray sr4.

I dowloaded DreamUp and done everything, tried all ports but the box won't connect to the computer. There is images etc attached to the box when looking under settings but when I try and download one it says there's no space.

I've been searching for channels as well using my virgin cable under different settings but still cannot find anything.

This has been over 5 hours now searching the internet and youtube to try and get this to work and am now completely stuck. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to get this working?

    Thanks

I downloaded the drivers for this and also tried the sunray dreamup version.

Now I'm getting message saying: Unable to open COM-Port, Aborting... The COM is 7 but same message on both dreamup versions.

It was probably saying there is no space because these boxes only come with flash drives, not hdd's.

Anyway, attach network cable to your home router, power it down from switch at the back, hold flash minidump button in, and power it on, keep holding in button until it says IP address on the box display, then let go of button.
Open browser on computer and visit http://(DreamBoxIP)/ , click firmware upgrade and from there you can install a image file.

NOTE: any images you download for your dm800se must be for SR4 (sunray 4), or they will likely not work.

The cable scanning thingy is a whole other kettle of fish..
