TS Dreambox Player works on some images on my DM500S (Nabilo V8 & Open-PLI) but I can't get it to work using the Commando image.
Don't know if it's compatable with your box or image but it's worth a try.
Here's a link to the thread where I got the download from (first link in post #16): http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...18/index2.html

After downloading and installing the program on your PC simply enter the type of dreambox you have and it's IP address.

Why u want to record to yr pc when u can add hdd and do recording on yr box itself unless it is on yr nas.

With that program you can watch the Dreambox on your PC, record what your watching as an AVI file on your PC.
Isn't that what you were looking for in the first place?
You can also use the timer function of the program to change the channel and record.

As for me, I install a 2.5 inch HDD and a custom fan. Work great, timer recording blar blar, just FTP the file into my PC when needed.

Thx bros for all the help, but is there anyway to record a programe n change channel at the same time? To wat I think it is only possible with double tuner.

During recording, only channels with the same transponder can be view else u need to install another tuner for recording and viewing simultaneously.
