    DM500 edit keys useing remote under DW?

    edit and change keys under DW1.6.5 or DW2.1 useing remote control?

          why would you want to use remote...its far easier to use pc and edit them....also if you have the auto update rom fix then there is no need to update the keys as it does it by itself

            The image needs to have the key updater plugin installed. If it is, it will be accessible from the blue button menu. If it's not installed, you'll need to connect the dreambox to a PC to add the plugin, and if you're connecting it to a PC, you might as well add the latest roms to make it auto update so no need for the plugin really.

              you can use tuxbox commander if installed.click ok on tuxbox commander then go to var folder press ok.go to keys folder press ok.go to keylist.txt press 4.no highlight the key and press ok and you can edit it.much better to update the roms though
