I have an envision box running DK image
everything has been was working fine until last night...

I have been missing Setanta Sport channels for a while so decided to try a factory restart.... whoops!!!!

I have lost all the bouquets but that is not a problem...
The main problem is that i can now only get free to air programs and no other channels that i had before...

I have tried to restart the cam by holding down the info button but that makes no difference.... can someone tell me what i am doing wrong and have i lost the keys or something...

not exactly sure what the factory reset does but looks like you need to get the magic files back and activate the emu etc. You may have to download the emu again from the addons (i.e. via the server).

A good search on the forum for keys will give you links to where you can download them. Also there are other posts which tell you what to do with them.

btw if you lose channels, then a simple scan should bring them back!!

2nd advice... always back up a working image before messing around with it!!

a factory reset will delete all your keys\roms\ e.t.c and will put the box back to a FTA box , ( default settings ) you will need to add your back up roms/keys/service files e.t.c and bouquetts if you had them too.

Also the panic button will do the same thing so dont hit that until certain you want to delete your main files.

I thought as much - stupid thing to do on a night when you get in from work adn want to watch TV in bed i know...

Now will have to find time to reinstall everything on my box...

Did a temporary fix last night by using a spair starview 4 i had downstairs - but the boxs is huge compaired to the little envison box...
