im trying to connect to a d500 via flash fxp and using the earthnet port, problem being it wont connect, i dont know if anyone has noticed if you look inside the top theres 2 little yellow lights which come on when connected to the crossover cable, these arnt coming on, they just flash once briefley every couple of seconds, iv tried another box and it connects no problem, one of the yellow lights stays on on this one when connected, dont know if this means anything??, can flash via dreamup but cant ftp into the box.

Did you give the box the same IP address as the box that connects ok?
Are all network settings identical?
On the working box, do the lights still stay on even if you disconnect the ethernet cable from the PC? -

just done the factory reset and reflashed with dreamup, no joy tryed all kinds, the yellow lights inside flash on breifley once every 3 seconds, it works spot on with null modem cable and dream up, thats the route il have to take, flash using a backup if needed. i think it must be hardware related.Faster than FasterComment
