    DM500 is it worth me buying.............

    a couple of dreambox 500c's for the kids rooms so we can get some peace and no more zak and cody shite !!.
    im reading about "smallworld" moving over to NDS and CHORUS in ireland shifting over so im wondering if its worth buying a couple.
    if i got 6 month of peace i'd be happy .any thoughts would be appreciated.

      How longs a piece of string?, one things for sure though it will come, i think sooner rather than later but thats my opinion, no one knows for sure.

          as yamar1 says no-one knows how long it will last but one thing i'm pretty sure of is that they will defo move to nagra3 or nds somtime within this year

                  oh yeah its lasted a good while, i bought my first dbox2 about 4 years ago or something then changed to a DM500c when they first come out, money well spent and still going strong for now

                      In my opinion once Virgin get the HD channels then they will change to n3, but sky won't resell them for a while because the make more money selling them on their own platform. Get a cheap clone.

                          it took Ireland a whole year after sending out the first batch of cards (jan '08) to even start the change (jan '09) and to date only parts of the cable areas have been turned off....so id say the uk has a while left yet, no need to worry untill DK has thousands op ppl screamin bout new cards been recieved in post, u will def get ur moneys worth from them
                          ps dont forget to lock the adult stuff
