    DM500 Sly Sports Red Button Option

    Hi guys, need some help for tonight... i need to access the match that is being shown on sky sports 1 via the red button tonight, how can i do this?

      sorry benny red button activation doesn't work on these boxes or any other box m8

              Maybe if you scanned every frequency at the time of the broadcast but I tried this years ago and didn't find anything.

              You'd need to create a cables.xml file with every frequency range in it, that's a lot of copying, pasting and editing, trust me .

              I've had a look and I don't have that file anymore.

              Maybe if you had a subbed box, you could switch to the game, find out the frequency and then scan it on your box or enter it in manually, maybe it will work for future games. Although it's bad timing as it's the end of the season .

                              Sky Sports interactive services (and HD) are exclusive to Sky as it isn't currently covered by the rate card. Therefore there wouldn't be a stream for it on cable even if you had a subbed box.

                                  When you scan you may find channels like stated below.

                                  ETVS## BICS##

                                  I tend to find red button BBC service on them so maybe sky could be on but not sure.

                                      your dreaming if u think you can pick up the sky interactive channels on virgin/dreambox...all in my opinion of course.

                                          BBC interactive services are carried by Virgin, Sky Sports interactive services aren't.
