DM500 how to backup DB500c image

OK, have got my DB500c up and running. Flashed dk1.1 & very pleased with the results. Now that I am, I need to back everything up. Is this best done with dreamup to capture the image? What about bouquets etc, will a copied image also copy them?

If hes done a complete backup, what does saying "no to flash erase" matter?

Flash erase will delete all your "added" files such as Services, Bouquets and keys (the stuff you want to backup). So effectively you will end up with a raw image.
