Chorus mmds dvr

I'm in a Ch*rus mmds area and was given a new dvr box today.
I think its made by Thompson. They also had to change my aerial while changing to the new box. I tried my DM600 T afterwards and scanned for services but could not pick up any transponders, also tried a bruteforce scan but still no transponders.

Does anybody have any ideas?

try a manual scan 250000 keep going up 8000 untill you get a lock.

Based in Dunshaughlin Co. Meath.

you say sym rate 6875 but i have a 600 t
so under manual scan i have frequency not sym rate like a 600 c would have.

freq starts at 220000 up to 450000 depending on location i have sym rate under this is 6875 luck

in autoscan have you two ch**us 1 for cable the other terr

check the downloads section for my terrestrial.xml that will scan for chorus.

i only have 1 ch**us under auto scan its a terrestrial one

i have a ch**us cable file on the computer but never ftp it to my box as its a 600t ie. terrestrial tuner

if you are not getting anything could it be possible that they changed to ntl mmds seeing as they changed the aerial as well

I was thinking the same thing.

under network settings on the new box i have

home freq
symbol rate
modulation qam

would symbol rate now suggest its cable mmds.

It looks like they have changed over to the ntl mmds system.

Have to get a cable tuner for my Dm600 now.
