    Lost all my Channels.....

    Morning all,

I woke up yesterday morning, to find I'd lost all my cable channels. When I checked, I realised I have lost everything.. so not an encryption problem. I've now tried a rescan, and it does not pick any channels up.

I'm assuming the feed into my house would not have changed overnight, unless v*rgin have changed something, so assume either my box (openmedia) is duff, or the cable is..

Interestingly, when I do a scan I get 100% signal and 65% SNR. However, if I take the cable out, it still says the same.

I can still switch over to satellite, and the box works ok, but I know that is using a different tuner entirely.

Any ideas on how I can check what the problem is?

    Cheers

Does the box find any Transponders?

A number of things to try.....
    1. Try different cable from wall to box
    2. Remove any splitters you may have on the cable feed
    3. Try reflashing the cable image
    4. Try connecting cable from wall direct to th TV at see if the feed is live. You should get a few channels.
