    What have i done

after successfully setting up my 5000c i was tinkering in the setting and was intrigued but the panic button, i though that could come in handy so clicked in the heading thinking it would lead to a sub menu. But it didn't the box went immediately fta only, as it should, then i tried a factory reset to restore the box and did a re flash with the dk image etc. it seems to scan ok and
i have all the epg etc but on the fta are coming on. i have ftp 'd to the box and all the files are as they should.
Do i now have a paperweight or is there something else going on?

You'll be OK mate. The panic button just removes all keys/Cams/Emus as well as deleteing your services and bouquets. All you need to do is start from scratch again and re-set it up. After you have it set up take a backup and you can revert back easily should something go tits-up.

Have you ftp'd the files from the November fix? What image? Have you started the emu?
